Daycare
Let’s face it—no one enjoys being stuck in a chaotic crowd. Especially not your dog. That’s why we keep our playgroups small, manageable, and totally drama-free. Think more “chill hangout” and less “Black Friday at the mall.”
What to Expect
With a human-to-dog ratio of 1:12 for small dogs and 1:10 for big ones, your pup actually gets noticed. Not just “we-know-they’re-here” noticed, but actually cared-for noticed. Compare that to the 15–50 dog free-for-alls happening elsewhere (yep, that’s a real number), and suddenly, we’re the calm in the canine storm.
Our Daycare Services
So, you noticed our prices. Let’s talk about why—and why it’s worth it.
Pricing Transparency - Learn More
First off, yes, facilities that pack in 50+ dogs a day can charge less than a boutique-style facility like ours that caps out at just 24. But here’s the thing: we prioritize quality over quantity—both for the dogs and for the humans caring for them.
Every member of our daycare staff earns between $16–$20+ an hour. On top of that, they get access to continued education programs to sharpen their skills.
Our facility isn’t just small—it’s top-tier. We’re proud to offer one of the most enriching facilities on the Avalon, complete with enrichment rotations, premium toys, treats, and personalized care. Running an enrichment-based daycare is no small feat (or expense). We’re constantly investing in your dog’s experience because we believe it’s worth it—and we think you will, too.
To offer these jobs, maintain our high standards, and stay open for you and your pup, we have to be a healthy, profitable company. By choosing us, you’re not just supporting a small business—you’re supporting a team of people who are passionate about giving your dog the best possible care.
Sure, we might cost a little more than the average free-for-all daycare, but when you compare what you’re getting—well trained staff, premium enrichment, and personalized care—it’s not even close. You and your pup deserve the best, and we’re here to deliver it.

Daycare Assessments:
Finding the Right Fit
Our Daycare Assessments are designed to ensure that your dog is a great fit for our daycare environment—and that our program is a good match for your dog too!
Assessments typically take 15–20 minutes, during which we ask that owners remain in their cars in the parking lot. This allows for a quick return home if a dog shows signs of extreme stress or aggression.
Our Daycare Assessments
During the assessment, we focus on gently introducing your dog to the daycare group. We do this by bringing out one dog at a time, allowing your dog to choose whether to engage. All introductions are supervised and done with an emphasis on calm, polite behavior. Dogs begin the assessment on-leash, and if everything goes smoothly, we work toward having them off-leash and fully integrated into the group by the end of the session.
If your dog passes the assessment, our staff will provide a recommendation for next steps. Confident dogs may begin attending daycare immediately, while more nervous dogs might benefit from starting with a half day (either morning or afternoon) or a “Friendly Visit”—a short, up-to-one-hour stay designed to create a positive, low-pressure experience and build confidence for future visits.
If space allows, dogs who successfully complete their assessment may be able to stay for daycare the same day.

Tiny Tuesdays
Tiny Tuesdays Rate
Tiny Tuesdays is now a regular part of our daycare program—designed exclusively for our small but mighty friends! This special service is reserved for dogs under 25 lbs and takes place every Tuesday, offering a safe, comfortable environment for little dogs to play, socialize, and thrive among similarly sized companions.
Each Tiny Tuesday reservation includes:
- A full day of daycare with other small dogs
- A 10-minute “Tiny Training” session tailored to the cue or skill of the day from our monthly training calendar
It’s the perfect blend of fun, learning, and confidence-building for petite pups who prefer playmates their own size!
Puppy Socials
Puppy Social Rate
45 minute session
Our Puppy Socials are the perfect way to help your puppy—under 6 months of age—build confidence and learn positive play skills in a safe, controlled environment. Each session is supervised by experienced daycare staff who ensure interactions stay friendly, respectful, and developmentally appropriate.
These socials not only benefit the puppies, but also provide a great learning opportunity for owners. Our staff will walk you through how to read puppy body language, what appropriate play looks like, and how to recognize behaviors that may need gentle redirection.
Whether your pup is preparing for future daycare or just getting used to playing with other dogs, Puppy Socials lay the foundation for a lifetime of healthy social habits.
Friendly Visit
Our Friendly Visit is a short, up-to-one-hour stay designed for dogs who may be a bit nervous or unsure in a new environment. This low-pressure introduction allows your dog to get familiar with the daycare space, meet a few dogs and staff members, and start building positive associations at their own pace.
Friendly Visit Rate
Our Friendly Visits
It’s the perfect first step for shy or cautious pups who may need a little extra time to adjust before joining the full daycare group. The goal is to help your dog feel comfortable, confident, and excited to return!
Add On Services
Beyond our core daycare and boarding services, we also offer a variety of add-ons to enhance your pet’s experience.
These includes services like grooming and training (as well as treats and enrichment for your dog).
An Average Day at The Pawffice
Our Pups Arrive
7:00–10:00 AM: You drop off your pup for their big day, complete with a guilt-free goodbye because you know they’re about to have the time of their life.
It's Party Time
The party kicks off! Your dog rotates through multiple 30 minute small group play sessions (because chaos-free is our vibe) tailored to their needs. They’ll enjoy group training, door manners, bubbles, and showing off their stay and recall skills and if the season allows maybe they’ll even splash in pools, and sniff the sensory yard. All the fun, none of the stress.
Private Training Time
It’s onto the basics with sit, down, place, and loose leash walking practice. Because who doesn’t love a dog that actually listens? We have a training calendar we switch up monthly so we’re always keeping things interesting!
Snack Break
Enter the frozen peanut butter Kong rest period. Your pup gets to indulge in a little PB heaven while sneaking in some nutritional enrichment and rest. We also have bully sticks and seasonal treats like doggy freezies and Christmas cookies to keep things fun!
Enrichment Adventure
We like to make sure that we consider the 5 pillars of enrichment: Social, Sensory, Nutritional, Occupational, and Physical every single day to meet even the neediest of dog’s desires! Afternoon enrichment can include anything from sniff zones with essential oils, puzzle toys, obstacle courses, bobbing for treats in a kiddie pool or seasonal scent spaces (May 2-4 campsite, Easter Egg Hunts, etc.)
Rest Periods
Downtime is key, and we’re all about multiple sessions of quality rest. Your pup will chill in their kennel suite, with the calming vibes of DOGTV (coming soon), dimmed lighting, and calming dog music because even the life of the party needs a breather.
Home Time
3:30–5:30 PM: After a full day of enrichment, play, and pampering, you pick up your dog—a happy, fulfilled, and gloriously tired version of the pup you dropped off. Enjoy the calm at home—you’ve earned it!
Balanced Play, Training, Activities & Rest
At The Pawffice, we don’t believe in endless play just for the sake of looking busy. Dogs need structure—and not the boring kind. We rotate between play sessions, enrichment activities, training, and good old-fashioned naps. Yes, naps. Because even the most social pup needs a break to recharge. This balanced approach keeps your dog:
Mentally Sharp
Physically Active
Emotionally Stable
